This application facilitates the updating of firmware for the Rev 2 Micro Mellotron via Bluetooth. It is important to note that the Rev 2 Micro version does not include an SD slot, which was present in the earlier Rev 1 model located between the MIDI jacks and the headphone jack. Unlike the Rev 1, which requires an SD card for updates, the Rev 2 Micro is streamlined for Bluetooth firmware updates only.

It is essential to understand that this app is solely intended for firmware updates, specifically the operating system. It does not enable changes to the sound configurations of your Micro Mellotron, as it is not designed to allow sound updates through either SD cards or Bluetooth.

The complete firmware update process generally takes about 30 seconds. Users should focus on updating only those components of the firmware that are indicated with green text; components marked with red text can be skipped by selecting "No."

Please be aware that this app merely transfers the firmware to the Micro's Bluetooth circuitry. A restart of the Micro is necessary to complete the update process, and it is crucial to adhere to the instructions provided within the application and displayed on the Micro.

Finally, this app requires an iPhone 5S or later for compatibility.
